Can I use my walking shoes for running?

No it is not wise to prefer walking shoes for running because while running you hit the ground with a great force which exerts a lot of pressure on your legs. For this reason, you need shoes that provide good cushioning and stability and should also aid shock absorption and motion control. Running shoes come with all these features required for your safe running where as walking shoes lack in cushioning and stability.
